Kristin Cavallari is already a mother of three, but she's not closing the door on expanding her family.

After admitting that she would consider having a kid with her boyfriend, Mark Estes, on her podcast earlier this month, the 24-year-old TikTok star spoke to PEOPLE about his relationship with Cavallari's three kids — and shares his thoughts on whether or not he sees a baby with her in his future.

"They're great kids," Estes tells PEOPLE of Camden, 11, Jaxon, 9, and Saylor, 8, who Cavallari shares with her ex-husband Jay Cutler. "I'm not going to dive too deep into that, but they're great kids."

His friends Kaleb Winterburn and Kade Wilcox, who round out the Montana Boyz trio, have also met Cavallari's kids, they tell PEOPLE, and regularly hang out with the Laguna Beach alum. They're "excited to be uncles," Wilcox, 22, says, teasing the possibility of Estes starting his own family with Cavallari, 37.

"I think in any relationship that you're in, you talk about that, just in general," he says when asked about having kids with her — a question that he says "doesn't really make me feel any type of way."

It's more of a "down-the-line" thing though, Estes says, before noting he's not against having kids on the younger side.

"I don't think there's an age — I think if you get married at a young age, I think what's next is a kid."

Cavallari's initially said that she wasn't "actively thinking about" having another kid, but the idea was "definitely in the back of [her] mind," as Estes "wants to have a kid."

"I'm mulling it over," she said, and when her BFF Justin Anderson pressed her on it, she added that the relationship has "become pretty serious."

While on the red carpet at the CMT Awards, Estes told Entertainment Tonight, "We definitely have had the talk, obviously," but admitted they are "just kind of going with the flow right now."

Cavallari has long said that being a mother is a major source of strength for her.

In 2020, shortly after her split from Cutler after 10 years together, she told PEOPLE that her kids "inspire me in everything in life and keep me going."

Addressing the divorce, she said she's pulling from her own experiences as a child of divorced parents and wants to "be strong."

"I want my kids to see me really happy, and I want to be the best mom that I can be for them. And if no one's happy, how are you going to be a great parent? You can't be."

She and Cutler are careful about how much they share about their relationship, though, as they prioritize their status as co-parents.

"I always want my kids to see Jay and me as a united front," she told Grazia Magazine in 2021. "He's their father. That's important and they need to see that from me."
