Marlon Wayans Relentlessly Trolls Homophobic ‘Hate Mongers’ With Pride Month Posts

Marlon Wayans clowned commenters criticizing him for celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month on Instagram last week.

The comedian slammed homophobic “hate mongers” over the weekend after he was flooded with bigoted comments about his support for transgender son Kai Wayans and the LGBTQ+ community.

In his initial post, Wayans proved to be a proud parent and ally, posing with an array of rainbow props and wearing a sweater covered in pro-Pride pins with messages like “love wins,” “100% pride,” and “love is love.”

“Happy PRIDE to all my LGBTQ+ peoples,” he wrote last Friday. “P.S. I’m STRAIGHT… well, according to my child CISGENDER male. I just love and support my peoples.”

After an aggressive backlash, the “White Chicks” star doubled down on his post and called out the anti-LGBTQ attacks at the same time.

“Yeah and just for the HATE MONGERS … I’m posting ANOTHER,” Wayans captioned a second post.

“As a father of a child in the LGBTQ+ community I show my support. Zero fucks what people think. If I lost you… GOOD! Your hateful ass never loved me in the first place. How can you love anyone when you’re too busy judging. Some of y’all funny. I’m a troll. I’ll post all day.”

Two more posts followed, showing Wayans wearing a rainbow mask as he heckled haters in his caption.

“You mad?!” he wrote. “I can do this shit ALL DAY… but instead I think I’ll do it ALL MONTH. HAPPY PRIDE.”

Wayans was a matter of fact when he revealed his son had transitioned in a November 2023 appearance on “The Breakfast Club.”

“I have a daughter that transitioned into a son. My daughter Amai is now Kai,” he said.

“I talk about the transition ― not their transition, but my transition as a parent, going from ignorance and denial to complete and unconditional love and acceptance,” Wayans went on. “I think there’s a lot of parents out there that need to have that message. I know, I’m dealing with it.”
