Martina Hingis, 38, stuns fans with pregnancy news

Tennis legend Martina Hingis has marked her 38th birthday by announcing she is pregnant.

“Thanks for all the birthday wishes!” she wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

“Happy to share that this will be the last time we’ll celebrate as a couple…excited to announce that we will become a family of three.”

The cute tweet was accompanied by a pic of an adorable tennis outfit for a baby:

Hingis was the youngest ever Grand Slam champion and World No.1.

She spent 209 weeks at the top of women’s tennis and won five Grand Slam singles titles.

She retired in 2017 and married former Swiss team doctor Harald Leemann in July this year.

Messages of congratulations came flooding in, led by British Fed Cup captain Judy Murray, Andy’s mum.
