Matteo Guidicelli would love to play Pedro Penduko
6 Aug – Matteo Guidicelli would gladly portray the superhero Pedro Penduko with open arms if such an offer comes his way.
As reported on Push, the actor, who was among the names mentioned to being the perfect replacement for James Reid - who withdrew from the project in May - stated that it will be a great project for an actor like him to get involved.
"This is a Filipino superhero. Of course I would be open to doing a project like this," he said.
Although Guidicelli already has a military training, he believes that he will have to go through proper training if he gets to play the character.
"Pedro Penduko has different characteristics. It would be nice to represent Filipino martial arts," he added.
Reid previously announced his departure from the superhero project after suffering from a previous spinal injury that required him to undergo therapy and treatment.
