After struggling with food addiction and obesity for years, Amanda Roberts was a brand new woman when she lost 70 kilograms after a gastric bypass in 2014.

But the battle for the 24-year-old – who weighed 150 kilos at her heaviest - was only half won, with the mum left struggling with excess skin, stretchmarks and scarring.
“I have [9 to 13kg] of loose skin from the extreme weight loss,” the California native revealed on Instagram.
“I've worked so hard for my body, and I constantly had people telling me to hide myself away, but I refuse.”
The self confessed body positivity advocate practices what she preaches, proudly posting photos of her new shape on Instagram.
Completely overhauling her health to focus on a high protein, low carb diet, along with four weekly workouts, the stay-at-home mum has even started a movement called "Tummy Love Thursday” where she posts a snap of her midriff.
But while Amanda is proud of every inch of her body, she admits her saggy skin is stopping her from living her fullest life, and has set up a crowdfunding page to help raise money so she can go to Mexico for surgery.
“I am having a hard time with normal tasks like exercising, running, etc,” Amanda reveals on her Go Fund Me page.
“I have my current goal amount set to [$13,000] which is the amount a plastic surgeon in Mexico has quoted me at for a tummy tuck, breast lift, butt lift, and possible arm reduction surgery."
Fingers crossed Amanda gets there…
