Nan's Christmas tree goes viral after accidentally decorating using G-strings

A girl has been left in hysterics after discovering that her nan had accidentally decorated her Christmas tree with G-strings.

Alex Bermingham shared the awkward story on Twitter after finding that the baubles on her 74-year-old nan’s tree actually contained purple glittery G-strings.

The nan from Ireland had bought them two years ago but decided to put them up this Christmas without realising what they actually were.

“My 74-year-old grandmother bought Christmas baubles in Dunnes Stores, which I have just realised upon decorating her tree that unbeknownst to her upon purchase, they are in fact, lavender glitter G-strings,” Alex wrote on Twitter, alongside photos of the baubles.

Alex says her nan’s favourite colour was lavender so she just grabbed the packet of baubles at the counter.

“She never realised until they were pointed out to her. My reaction consisted of pure shock and laughter at the situation,” she told Metro.uk.
