Sean Murray has issued a response to his wife Carrie James Murray's filing for divorce.

In a new filing obtained by PEOPLE, the NCIS star has requested the court award him and Carrie joint physical and legal custody of their minor children, Caitlyn, 16, and River, 13, following Carrie's initial petition to have sole physical and joint legal custody.

Sean has also requested that they both pay their attorney fees, as opposed to Carrie's petition which asked for the actor to cover her fees.
