Nestle axing Breakaway biscuits after 54 years on British shelves - what's it being replaced by?
Breakaways are being taken away for good, leaving us with just a couple of months to get our hands on the iconic chocolate biscuit bar.
Nestle has announced Breakaways will be discontinued from March after 54 years on British shelves.
The historic chocolate digestive biscuit bar sealed in its classic yellow wrapper is getting axed alongside Yorkie Biscuit bars due to a decline in sales, Nestle says.
If you love regular Yorkies, don't stress - Nestle has promised they are "staying for good".
The treat makers have vowed to replace the outgoing bars with "exciting new products" later in the year.
It said one of them will be a new variation of the Blue Riband bar which will have hazelnut filling layered between the wafers.
Whether that will soften the blow for Breakaway enthusiasts remains to be seen.
A Nestle spokesperson said: "We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but it's time for us to say goodbye to Breakaway.

"We have seen a decline in the sales of Breakaway over the past few years and, unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.
"By saying goodbye to Breakaway, we can focus on our best-performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight consumers' taste buds.
"While we know it's sad to see Yorkie Biscuit go, we want to assure shoppers that we have plenty of exciting new products lined up for 2024. Watch this space."
The Breakaway, made with wholemeal, oat and coconut flours, was launched in 1970 by Rowntree Mackintosh before being acquired by Nestle in 1988.
Its tragic downfall follows Nestle's axing of the Caramac bar in November after 64 years.
