Footy player sin-binned for vulgar 'mooning' incident

A rugby league grand final in Serbia has descended into utter chaos after a wild all-in-brawl broke out in the dying moments of the match.

Surprisingly though, that wasn’t the worst part of it all.

In the fiery clash between Red Star Belgrade and Partizan, perhaps the most sensational takeaway was the sin-binning of one player for what has been referred to as a ‘pathetic’ act.

With a 30-16 lead in the second-half, Red Star crossed again to stamp their authority on the one-sided affair.

The try, however, didn’t sit too well with the opposition who took aim at the try scorer – sparking a brutal all-in-brawl in the process.

Once the dust settled from the fight and players made their way back to their halves following a successful conversion, Partizan winger Boban Jankovic dropped his shorts.

Jankovic proceeded to turn around presenting his bare backside to the Red Star players, prompting the referee to intervene – and leaving the commentators in disbelief:

“Here’s another ten minutes for somebody, ah, Jankovic gets ten minutes for mooning,” they said.

“That’s just pathetic, our international fans have just witnessed something new here and Partizan have just absolutely lost their way.”

At the end of it all, Red Star managed to hold on for a 36-10 win over Partizan to claim the trophy.

There’s been no update on whether Jankovic will face further disciplinary action for his heinous act.
