NFL star urges legal action over fan's shocking act

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a huge game against the New England Patriots on Monday – but one incident left him absolutely fuming.

Hill managed 142 receiving yards and three touchdown catches during the contest, and after his third score, one Patriots fan let him know he didn’t appreciate how well he was playing.

Hill was doused in beer and given the finger after he scored his third touchdown of the night by the irate fan.

The incident wasn’t taken lightly, and it seems that it will be the last beer that fan ever drinks, or throws, at the Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots announced that the fan was located and his name was turned over to local police, who will issue a “letter of “disinvite”.

Despite the fan being banned from future NFL matches, the punishment didn’t seem to fit the crime for the player at the centre of it.

Hill reportedly wants to take legal action to be taken against the fan, and he is discussing his options with his agent, the league and the NFLPA.

“That type of behavior is unacceptable,” Hill’s agent told ESPN told.

“Players have to be protected. We want that fan to be prosecuted.”

With the Chiefs trailing by seven points, Hill caught a 75-yard touchdown pass with just 3:03 left in the game.

His momentum took him toward some Patriots fans past the end zone – that’s when Hill got sprayed with the beer.

In the end, Hill’s effort was all for naught.

Tom Brady led the Patriots down the field as time was winding down and Stephen Gostkowski hit a field goal as time expired to give New England the 43-40 win.

After starting the season 1-2, the Patriots have won three straight.
