'Explicit and horrible': Pregnant MAFS star Jules Robinson taunted by 'evil' troll

Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson — who is currently pregnant her first child — has shared a shocking example of the ‘explicit and horrible’ messages she receives from trolls on social media.

On Wednesday, the mum-to-be posted a screenshot to her Instagram Stories of a private message she was sent by a user who taunts her about her weight and cruelly asks: “Did your baby die yet?”

“I have a feeling you just fat again,” wrote the person, who Jules calls ‘Lauren’.

“I hope you have a painful miscarriage,” they added.

Jules, who appeared in season six of MAFS in 2019, responded to the abusive comments with good humour, encouraging others to ‘choose kindness’ instead of posting ‘evilness’ online.

“Well this is lovely! #nototrolls #why #choosekindness,” she wrote.

“‘Lauren,’ think before you act, twice before you speak and three times before you post EVILNESS on social media,” she added.

Jules also posted an update to her Stories saying that she’d reported the account to Instagram and implored others being targeted by trolls to send her ‘evidence’ so she can reach out and help.

That same day, the Sydney-based businesswoman shared a stunning snap of herself wearing a crop top and blue jeans while cradling her growing baby bump.

Jules and her husband, Cam Merchant, announced they were expecting back in April, less than six months after saying ‘I do’ for real in a lavish TV wedding.

In the caption, she addressed her trolls head-on:

“Dear Trolls, I apologise that my happiness, my hair, my body, how I choose to live my purpose driven life offends you so much that it leads you to such sadness that you have the need to write such explicit horrible things to me (and others). I hope you can put the energy you put into this, into yourself,” she wrote.

“When you’re happy within, know who you are, have integrity in your actions, accept yourself you have no room for hate or jealousy. Sorry to brake [sic] it to you but I will continue to be me,100% me! so best not look. Take care and make sure you come to our TROLL FESTIVAL!! (last post). Laters,” she added.

Jules concluded the caption by thanking the ‘beautiful people’ who support her and announcing that her next post will be about ‘love light and happiness’.
