Prince George celebrates his seventh birthday in new portraits
Prince George is celebrating his seventh birthday today in style.
Two sweet new photographs of the young royal have been released to mark the occasion, which were taken by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
In both of the portraits, the future king is seen giving a big smile to the camera, within what looks like the grounds of the Cambridge family's Norfolk home.

George is dressed in a dark green polo shirt in one picture and a more casual camouflage T-shirt for the second.
The Cambridges shared the portraits on Instagram, captioning the post: "Thank you everyone for your very kind wishes on Prince George’s birthday today! 🎂 "
Kensington Palace said that his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were “delighted” to share the photos. It's become something of a tradition among the family now to share new portraits of each of the children to mark their birthdays - often taken by Kate, who is a keen photographer.
Prince George Alexander Louis - known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge - was born on 22 July 2013 in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital.
The Cambridges also released a sweet series of family portraits last month, to mark Father's Day, which were also taken by the duchess at their Norfolk home.
Prince George, along with his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, joyfully played around with their father Prince William in the photos.
