It's safe to say that the Cambridges (Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children) are a tight-knit bunch, with the Duke and Duchess known for being doting and devoted parents. So much so, that Kate has even recently landed a child-related TV job...

With that in mind, it's not much of a surprise then that little Princess Charlotte has picked up the sweetest habit from her mum, Kate, with whom she spends plenty of time (despite the Duchess of Cambridge having a remarkably busy royal schedule).

As spotted by royal fan account over on TikTok, RoyalFanCams, the sweet daughter of William and Kate has a habit for swooshing her ponytail around and for playing with her hair, as demonstrated in a photo of her heading into her first day of school at St Thomas's Battersea.

It's also a habit that the Duchess of Cambridge is fond of herself too, having been seen playing with her ponytail as she spoke to teaching staff during a video call in February last year.

Side note: remember when we had to watch the royals carrying out their duties over Zoom? How much nicer is it to see them back out and about again?!

Getting stuck into a good hair twizzle isn't the only habit that the young royal has adopted from her mother though – far from it, in fact! Whilst on a Christmas Day outing to church back in 2019, the Princess could be seen having a go at copying the Duchess' curtsy after exiting a festive service with the rest of their family.

How sweet does she look, doing her little bob up and down on the stairs? Just adorable!

These two are the embodiment on the saying 'like mother, like daughter' and we just love to see it.
