While you might think that Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith spends her time rewatching old episodes of the hit show, you would be wrong. The 83-year-old reality show personality admitted to the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine that she "never" watches the series.

"The truth is not that I don't think it's a wonderful show, I do," she told the outlet. "I'm so vain, I cannot bear seeing my wobbly bits on view all the time." Prue went on to say that "the trouble" with the judging job is that they're "looking down" in an unflattering way. "All your chins are on view," she said. "Then, to have a gob full of cake..."

As for new co-host Alison Hammond, who will make her series debut on the upcoming Season 14 premiere, the role has been...challenging, she said, because of all that cake Leith is talking about.

"I probably put on half a stone. I've been working so much, I haven't been training. I was face down in the cake every single bake," Hammond said. "I thought the appeal would've worn off, but I was tempted all the time. When you hear Prue say, 'Oh, that's delicious…' I can feel myself dribbling."

In case you missed the news, Hammond was announced as Matt Lucas' replacement in March after the comedian stepped down due to his busy schedule.

"Well, do you know what? I'm just absolutely thrilled. I'm gonna be meeting the bakers very soon. I'm joining The Great British Bake Off. I'm so very excited. All my colleagues are absolutely speechless," Hammond wrote on Instagram after the news went public.

Leith seems equally as excited about her new co-star. "I feel I’m really glad Alison’s coming, because at least she’s a woman and she’ll be a little more sensible," she said, before adding that she "never gets the jokes" from the other boys. "All this stuff about innuendo and things."
