Rebel Wilson Won’t Be Getting Married at Disney Despite Getting Engaged There: ‘That’s Probably Enough’
Wilson proposed to fiancée Ramona Agruma at the California theme park on Valentine's Day last year
Rebel Wilson won't be saying "I do" at Disneyland.
The Australian actress, 44, revealed on Monday's episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna that she and her fiancée, Ramona Agruma, don't plan to celebrate their wedding at the California theme park despite getting engaged there on Valentine's Day last year.
"Probably not. Probably not," Wilson replied when co-host Jenna Bush Hager asked if the pair has Disneyland at the top of their wedding venue shortlist. "We got engaged there — that’s probably enough Disney."
As for their wedding timeline, the Senior Year star said she and Agruma, 40, are eyeing a date sometime next year due to her busy work schedule.

"This year’s been insane not only with the book, but I’ve just been directing a movie so I’ve got a few more months in post production on that," she explained, referring to her candid new memoir, Rebel Rising, and her directorial debut, The Deb. "So probably next year."
Wilson also reminisced about how she and Agruma met in 2022. "We met through mutual friend who hooked us up via text. And then we started texting and talking on the phone — it was very old-fashioned," she recalled.
"And then I thought, ‘I have to fly to meet this wonderful lady.’ And then we got engaged at Disneyland on Valentine’s Day," she continued, summing up their whirlwind romance.
The comedian also shared surprising details in her new book about her and Agruma's first date in person — a lunch at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. "I’m so nervous. I’m also worried that if Ramona and I do hit it off, I don’t have much sexual experience with a woman. And I’ve only had time to read half of the Girl Sex 101 book," Wilson recalled in an excerpt of her memoir from this week's issue of PEOPLE.
"We both order food and we try to eat, but we can’t really eat anything. And so ... well ... I don’t want to embarrass Ramona, but ... we instead opt to go to the bathroom and make out," she continued. "'I think you need to come back to my house,' I say. I’ve never just invited someone straight back home, but I’m only in L.A. for the week."
"I take her to my bedroom. We just ... connect. It feels beautiful," she added.

In the book, Wilson also recounted her surprise Disneyland proposal to Agruma in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. "Ramona sees the pastel rose petals all over the ground and the roses in vases," she wrote of the romantic setup.
"I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box," she continued. "I end with, 'So in this cliché way, on this cliché day, Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?' 'Yes,' she says through the tears streaming down her face."
