Remi Bader is showing off the results of her putting herself first.

On May 21, the content creator and body positive model posted a video on Instagram of the transformation she’s made in the gym.

In the “before” clip, the 29-year-old is struggling to do a core exercise before shaking her head and giving up. The “after” clip then shows her successfully completing the same workout.

“The difference of a few months focusing on my mental, emotional and physical strength,” Bader wrote over the clip. “This is not about weight, or looks or appearance, it’s about putting myself first and finding myself again. Always put yourself first.”

“People come and go so remember you only have YOU at the end of the day 🩷 thank you to those always supporting me through my darkest and brightest moments,” she added in the caption.

Bader has come a long way in her overall health journey. In September 2023, the influencer revealed in a candid TikTok video that she was struggling with binge eating. She explained that she had a very emotional day, so she “answered that with eating, eating, eating, eating.”

Three percent of all American adults struggle with binge-eating disorder, WebMD reports, defining it as excessive overeating and feeling unable to stop, even when satiated.

The Victoria’s Secret ambassador challenged the notion that binge eating is always a product of sadness. “It’s not that I’m sad. I live a pretty great, happy life.”

“This addiction is the only thing I can go to for comfort,” Bader stated.

While Bader has made progress over the years, she admitted that she continues to beat herself up over these setbacks.

“I knew what I was going to do. I wanna be alone, I want to eat. I wanna self-sabotage," she said at the time. "It’s just the weirdest mindset.”

Despite the challenges she is facing, Bader is staying relatively positive.

“It’s a new day…it happened, it’s over,” she said.
