Rob Gronkowski on Beach Party Dance-Off with Travis Kelce: ‘We’re Great Dance Partners’
The NFL legend reflected on his 2022 dance-off with the Kansas City Chiefs star on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'
Rob Gronkowski thinks he and Travis Kelce make the ideal dancing duo!
On Monday's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Gronkowski, 34, discussed his dance-off with Kelce, 34, at his 2022 Gronk Beach Party — and rated his dancing skills compared to the Kansas City Chiefs star.
“It was kind of a tie,” Gronkowski commented after host Jimmy Fallon played a clip of the pair taking part in an onstage dance contest at the annual festival.
“I mean, we're great dance partners,” the former NFL star continued. “Imagine if we were teammates on the field, on the same team as well. Oh man, that would be pretty impressive. We would dominate like the dance floor.”
In the video shared by Fallon, Gronkowski and Kelce can be seen walking towards each other as they sway their hips and hold their arms in the air. A second clip showed the pair waddling like penguins.
Gronkowski’s account comes as he shared he will be back hosting this year's Gronk Beach Party in Las Vegas on Feb. 10 in celebration of the Super Bowl — which will feature Kelce after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship on Sunday.
After the game, Kelce sealed the win by receiving a kiss from girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Elsewhere on the show, the New England Patriots legend called Kelce a “beast” on the field ahead of his Super Bowl appearance with the Chiefs, as he addressed him beating his and Tom Brady's record of 18 postseason touchdowns with teammate Patrick Mahomes.

“Travis and Patrick have just been putting on a display for the NFL week in and week out,” he said. “There's no doubt about that, but there's one record that I am proud to hold to this day still and it's the single season receiving record for most touchdowns by a tight end.”
“So if he breaks that one, I will be really bummed. But he has broken about every other record so far,” the retired NFL star added.

When asked if he’d consider returning to the game himself to coach, Gronkowski replied, “I really would never consider coaching, not in the NFL. I would consider coaching like my kid one day … but NFL coaching, the regime is just crazy. Like you're there 15 hours a day for like six days a week it's just a little bit too much.”
“You know it takes away your life. You got to really really really really love coaching if you wanna be a coach in the NFL. And I love the game of football but that's just a little bit too much.”
“Yeah you can't be 100% Gronk,” Fallon, 49, joked, to which Gronkowski responded, “Exactly!”
