Royal fans spot major change on Prince William and Kate Middleton's Instagram account

Despite living a very much private life behind closed doors, Prince William and Kate Middleton keep their fans up to date on their goings-on via their social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram. But recently, royal fans have noticed a change to the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram account, and they've taken to the comments section in their droves to point it out – as well as crushing on the Prince, I'll add!

"Whoever has took [sic] over there social media need a major raise!!" one person commented on a post, as someone else wrote: "Please never fire your current social media marketing team."

"Appreciate this new social media KP," someone else commented, as a fourth royal fan chimed in with: "Excellent Reel and caption. So glad your team is upping the social media accounts."

Elsewhere, another follower wrote: "Caption game getting better 👏🏼 great job team!" And someone else commented something similar with: "Prince William, you are doing such an awesome job. And to the KP social media team, thank you for the detailed captions."

With such praise in the comments section, clearly the Prince and Princess of Wales' social media team deserve a round of applause – although it's hard to pinpoint when the changes to their account started. The couple initially launched their Instagram account back in 2015, with the username a nod to their former titles: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Since then, William and Kate have become more and more experimental with their Instagram account, branching out with Reels, Guides and curated Highlights. Evidently, their new strategy is working, and the pair have a whopping 15 million followers on Instagram, which is almost two million more than King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who currently have 13.1 million.
