RumChata Limón Is Now Available On Shelves Nationwide Just In Time For Spring

From Delish

Update, March 22, 2021: After Rumchata announced it was releasing a lemon-flavored expression last spring, fans of the creamy booze went wild. Unfortunately at the time it was only available in top markets but the brand is officially rolling out Rumchata Limón on shelves nationwide just in time for spring, according to SimpleMost.

The beverage blends dairy cream, vanilla, and lemon with Carribbean rum so it's light and packed with a fresh flavor. The packaging itself is as vibrant as the drink inside with a bright yellow bottle and shiny gold cap. Like many cream-based alcohols Rumchata Limón is extrememly versatile and can be enjoyed straight, as a coffee creamer or blended into a cocktail. Bottles of the drink can now be found nationwide is 750ml, a 100ml 3-pack, and 375ml bottles.

Original Post, April 3, 2020: Everybody knows that spicy and creamy Rumchata is the secret behind so many delicious winter cocktails (Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pudding Shots, anyone??), but its newest flavor will have you sipping the stuff all spring too. The brand recently announced its new creation RumChata Limón, a bright and tart drink that belongs on your bar cart.

The new flavor blends Caribbean rum with cream, vanilla, and lemon, so you get a delicious, smooth flavor with a lemon-y finish that feels like a little bit of sunshine in every sip...in fact it's even packaged in a bright yellow bottle with a golden cap that is, side note, totally Instagrammable.

Because it's so unique, you can also use this stuff about a million different ways. Sure, you're probably already dreaming about taking shots of it straight (me too!), but you can also use it as a coffee creamer, in a cocktail, or blended with other bright flavors like blueberry vodka.

Additionally, you can also use it in your baking or in brunch foods like pancakes to give them a pop of lemon...plus no one will notice if you take a little swig out of the bottle while you're cooking. Oh, and it's great on the rocks, too, if you want to class it up a bit.

Rumchata Limón is 14 percent ABV and a 750ml bottle will run you about $20. We spotted it on MiniBar so far, but as the weather warms up, keep an eye out for it wherever you usually buy your alcohol.
