What you need to know
A joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4's Dispatches accused the comedian of multiple assaults from 2006-2013, with one of the alleged victims being just 16 at the time.
Russell strongly denied the allegations and released a YouTube video addressing them the day before the investigation broke.
YouTube has now said Russell Brand will not make money from the site and removed some of his material from the streaming service.
It's now been reported the UK police have received report of a sexual assault alleged to have taken place in 2003.
Promoters have postponed the remaining dates in Brand's live shows.
🗣️ What they said
Russell Brand on what he deems a "coordinated media attack": "Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.”
Russell Brand on being "promiscuous": "During that time of promiscuity the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual."
One of Russell's alleged victims, who was 16: "Russell engaged in the behaviours of a groomer, looking back, but I didn't even know what that was then, or what that looked like."

⏭️ So what's next?
Renowned entertainment journalist Peter Ford said this to Yahoo Lifestyle: "As for career damage, he doesn't seem to have any movies or TV work lined up [and] there doesn't seem to be sponsors attached to his social media stuff," he said.

Old footage of Russell is being analysed heavily now, including the way he dumped ex-wife Katy Perry over text just before she was due to perform, as well as parts from his comedy shows where he makes crude sexual remarks.
As Peter Ford also mentioned in a radio interview this morning with 6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl, Russell appears to be shutting down the accusations by stipulating that there’s a conspiracy theory involved.
“What is interesting about this story is that in this case, he [Russell] got on the front foot,” Peter said. “He went onto his YouTube channel and put out a video on Saturday to say this story is going to drop and I deny everything.
"And he’s proposing a conspiracy theory that mainstream media and pharmaceutical companies are trying to close him down because he’s in the process of exposing the truth.”
