Ryan Reynolds Isn't a Fan of the Pumpkin Spice Latte: 'Not on My Watch'

Instead, the actor encourages fall enthusiasts to make a Negroni in a new Aviation Gin ad

Ryan Reynolds has his own way of celebrating the start of the fall season.

In honor of Aviation Gin kicking off its first year as the official American Gin of Negroni Week, the celebrity founder, 46, released a new video to educate fans on how to create an Aviation Gin Negroni.

"It's nearly fall, which means the entire universe will once again be losing its mind for pumpkin spice. Well, not at Aviation. Not on my watch. Let's make a Negroni," he declared at the start of the hilarious clip released on Monday.

The actor then lists the ingredients, which include 1 oz. bitter red liqueur, 1 oz. sweet vermouth, and 1 oz. gin, and an orange peel.

"While stirring, we're going to take a moment to ponder why once a year for two or three months, we lose our mind over pumpkin spice," he continued. "What the f-- are we doing, people?" Reynolds ended the instructional video by proclaiming that it was time for Negroni Week to begin.

The event takes place between Sept. 18 to Sept. 24 and brings together bars and restaurants around the globe to celebrate the iconic Negroni cocktail while supporting Slow Food’s mission to foster a more equitable and sustainable world of food & beverage.

The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) returned to all locations on Thursday, Aug. 24 for the 20th year. To mark the major milestone, Starbucks brought back a number of beloved fall drinks in addition to the PSL (Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato) — and introduced two new seasonal beverages (Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte and Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso).
