Ryan Reynolds tweets fan dumped after seeing Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2 contains a scene that asks the girlfriends of the (presumably straight, male) audience to break up with them.
While very Deadpool-ish, it seems that girlfriend of one fan took it a little too literally and actually broke up with him. On his birthday. Ouch.
Twitter user Josiah Thieman tweeted to Reynolds: "Deadpool 2 came out on my birthday and my girlfriend at the time saw it without me than broke up with me.
"I thought it would be the ultimate birthday gift but it turned out to be a disaster. :( I love you."

The Deadpool actor - who recently expertly shut down rumours of trouble in his marriage to Blake Lively - then actually responded, writing: "There's a scene in the film where Deadpool tells your girlfriend to break up with you. I didn't think she'd take it seriously. I'm so sorry. Still friends?"
Hey, if you're going to get comfort after a breakup, we suppose one of the biggest actors on the planet tweeting you isn't that bad, eh?
Thieman also confirmed that they were "still friends", so at least that's one relationship that's still going strong.

Meanwhile, Reynolds recently took to Twitter to confirm that he didn't actually sit on a baby during one particular scene in Deadpool 2.
"I want to shut this disgusting rumor down before I start it," he tweeted. "Yes, there's a scene in #deadpool2 in which I have adorable little baby legs. In order to achieve this illusion I did NOT sit on an actual baby... For more than a minute. An hour, tops."
