Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham twin in white corsets
If you ask us, nothing signifies two people's close bond like twinning outfits. Be it a mother-daughter moment, think Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillipe, or a sister style slay à la Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. However, our favourite matching scenario is easily two celeb besties stepping out in coordinating looks.
From co-stars Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johannson both channelling old Hollywood glamour, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara getting the OTT memo in sparkles, and Sophie Turner and Dakota Johnson on a girls' night out, to Taylor Swift and Blake Lively giving ultimate friendship goals, Florence Pugh and Kylie Jenner (and Kylie's daughter Stormi Webster) dominating Fashion Week, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Sophie Turner (you can never have too many friends, tbf) in near-identical ensembles.
Plus, we can't discredit Suki Waterhouse's recent twinning moment with a dog, AKA man's best friend.
But when it comes to celeb matching BFF style, no one does it like Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham.
After wearing matching black leather jackets in Paris together – and making Nicola's husband Brooklyn Beckham look like a third wheel – Selena again showed her love for her bestie over the weekend [Saturday, February 3] to attend the premiere of Lola, a film written, directed by and starring Nicola.
And proving what a loyal and supportive friend she is, Selena went so far as to match her look to Nicola's, wearing a white satin ruched bustier with black trousers and a black tuxedo-style jacket over the top. Nicola similarly opted for a white cropped corset with coordinating low-rise tailored wide-leg trousers, a chic AF outfit befitting a leading lady that her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham revealed on Instagram was a custom ensemble from her own fashion house.
With Selena and Nicola even coordinating their dark brunette hair colours (though Sel's was styled in Brigitte Bardot bangs thanks to a new haircut), the pair are giving serious friendship goals and are proof, twinning really is winning. We can just imagine the "what are you wearing?" texts these two exchanged before hitting the red carpet.
