Chelsea Lazkani is speaking out in her first interview since her divorce from husband Jeff Lazkani.

While chatting about the upcoming eighth season of Selling Sunset at a Netflix event last weekend, the real estate agent gave Access Hollywood an update on her life since ending her marriage in March.

“I’m doing good,” she said. “Ups and downs, take every day as it comes, but today I’m doing really good.”

Asked whether viewers would see the split play out on the Netflix docusoap, Chelsea was coy about how much the new season will delve into her marital issues.

“You’re going to have to watch it, aren’t you?” she said. “What do you mean, ‘Will we see what happened?’ What do you think I am?”

Challenged to rank the season’s drama on a scale of one to 10, Chelsea said she’d need “a bigger scale.”

“Let’s just say it’s bonkers,” she added. “But it’s real life. S--- happens.”

Chelsea said she’s had support from some of her Selling Sunset costars, whom she described as her “best friends.”

“Emma [Hernan] and Chrishell [Stause] are my best friends in the entire world,” she said. “So, we spend so much time outside of working and filming together, and they’re the most supportive people in the world.”

The reality star filed for divorce on March 27 citing “irreconcilable differences," per the filing obtained by PEOPLE.

According to the documents, Chelsea filed for joint custody and spousal support from Jeff.

Chelsea met Jeff, a managing partner at the advertising agency Icon Media Group, in 2015, and the pair married two years later in August 2017. The exes are parents to two children: Maddox Ali Lavon, 5, and Melia Iman, 3.

In response to her filing, Jeff filed a written declaration on April 2, stating that he also wanted a divorce due to irreconcilable differences.

In the declaration, he accused Chelsea of "exhibiting suspicious behavior" since filing for divorce in March. He also claimed that many of his "personal belongings" had disappeared or were taken from their Manhattan Beach, Calif. home.

Jeff also claimed he was notified of his wife’s divorce filing via a text message from TMZ, saying he was “stunned” by the entire situation.

Chelsea previously indirectly addressed the divorce in a video shared to her Instagram Stories on April 4.

In the social media clip, she asked her followers to distract her by telling her a funny story.

“Share a funny or embarrassing story with me,” she said. “I’m in the mood to laugh at anybody else but myself because I’ve been trying to do that for the last two days. At this point I’m just going to break down and cry.”
