Actress Jessica Chastain is offering fashion fans an exclusive chance to shop her wardrobe, selling pieces from her personal collection in aid of the Women for Women International charity via luxury secondhand retailer Vestiaire Collective.

The Oscar-winning star has handpicked her favourite pieces to sell, and she is doing this alongside her friend and her stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also dresses the likes of Julia Roberts, Viola Davis, and Cate Blanchett. Stewart is also offering up her wardrobe for sale, and has created an edit.

Chastain's style never misses both on and off the red carpet – and her Vestiaire Collective edit is a reflection of that. The drop includes a mix of red-carpet and street-style looks from some of her favourite and most-worn brands, such as Gucci, Roksanda, Stella McCartney, Dries Van Noten, Off-White and Mach & Mach.

Highlights of her special edit include a white Carolina Herrera gown that she wore to the premiere of The Good Nurse, a Dries van Noten velvet burgundy dress that she wore to appear on The Late Show, and a menswear-inspired Ralph Lauren dress that she wore to the Tribeca Film Festival.

"I’ve worn these pieces during significant moments in my life and I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making them," Chastain said. "I hope others will enjoy these pieces as much as I have. I love that Vestiaire Collective is a mission-driven company transforming the fashion industry for a more sustainable future and I'm delighted that these items will find a second new life."

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Women for Women International; a charity that supports female survivors of war and conflict, by providing them with social and economic skills to transform their lives
