Simone Biles made a hilarious confession while celebrating the first anniversary of her wedding with husband, Jonathan Owens.

Biles, 27, shared photos from the big day in Cabo San Lucas, where they tied the knot a second time in front of friends and family on May 6, 2022, after officially marrying at a Houston courthouse one week earlier.

Among the photos Biles shared to Instagram Stories on her anniversary was a sweet shot of herself and her mother, Nellie Biles, as they celebrated at a pool party during the wedding weekend.

Above the photo, Biles wrote, "Momma Biles is probably telling me I need to eat before I black out."

Below the image, she explained, "Which would have been good advice about 3 hrs before this," admitting that she "did indeed black out" and missed the rest of her pool party.

In another story, the Olympian showed a photo of herself drinking a beer, seemingly poured by someone else into her mouth. "& then I blacked out," Biles wrote over the photo.

Owens, 28, and Biles first met in March 2020 after connecting on the dating app, Raya.

Biles later revealed that she made the first move in messaging her future husband. "He would say I slid into his DMs," the gymnast told the Wall Street Journal in 2021.

"I saw him and I was like, 'Oh, he's pretty cute,' so I said hi ... and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later," she explained of the origin of their relationship.

The couple tied the knot during an intimate courthouse wedding in Texas on April 22, 2023.

"We had to get married 'legally' here in the U.S. since our wedding will be a destination wedding," Biles told her followers at the time.

In her first Instagram post after the marriage became official, she wrote, "I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍." Owens, meanwhile, published a similar post and wrote: "My person, forever ❤️💍."

One week later, the couple traveled to Cabo San Lucas for their second ceremony, where they celebrated with approximately 140 guests.

The lavish event featured lush florals, champagne and gold and white décor. Biles wore four different dresses during the celebration while her new husband sported a tan-colored suit and bowtie.

"I actually felt so sick the entire day, and when it was almost time to walk, my heart was beating out of my chest," Biles recalled in an interview with Vogue. "I've never been so nervous before in my life."

One month after their wedding, Owens signed a contract with the Green Bay Packers that forced the couple to adapt to a long-distance relationship. Biles supported him at multiple Packers games last season.
