Stamps issued to mark Rotary club centenary

A set of stamps has been brought out to celebrate a Jersey organisation's 100th birthday.

Jersey Post said a set of six stamps has been commissioned for the Rotary Club of Jersey's centenary with designs based on projects the club has been involved with.

These include the construction of sand dams in Kenya, conservation work in Les Mielles and helping to give out polio vaccinations.

The stamps cost between 60p and £2.95 with souvenir sheets available at post offices on Broad Street, St Helier, and Rue Des Pres, St Saviour.
