Tash Lockhart addresses THAT wardrobe malfunction

Tash Lockhart has finally spoken out about her wardrobe malfunction on the season finale.

The Voice contestant says she didn’t mean to steal the spotlight from winner Alfie Arcuri.

“I feel so bad; I’ve had so many headlining stories about this and trending on Twitter and it’s meant to be about Alfie, not my boob,” she said.

The 22-year-old says she went on the show for “experience and exposure”.

“Coming from a Christian background, working with people who are on the same level as me, have the same core beliefs is really important to me.”

“And even though their main focus is Christian music, they still write within the secular industry and I think to collaborate with them on a secular EP would be really cool.

“I think we would produce music that was true to me.”

Lockhart reveals she has been approached by managers and record labels.

“I don’t know honestly if getting signed straight away is the right thing; it could restrain you depending on the contract,” she said.

“It comes down to the music for me, it has from the start and Ronan and his wife are going to help me.”

Lockhart suffered from a MAJORLY embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on The Voice finale on Sunday when she accidentally flashed her nip after singing alongside her mentor Ronan Keating live on television.

Tash was chatting to host Sonia Kruger and Ronan when her left breast popped out of her dress.

Twitter lit up with comments after the mishap aired.

"Poor @Tash_Lockhart you have permission to kill the wardrobe department," tweeted one user.

Another joked: "Great to see @Tash_Lockhart pulling out everything to try and win the #TheVoiceAU."

A spokesperson for Channel Nine said of the incident: "'It's just live TV, we hope no-one was offended".
