The Project's Michael Hing shocked his co-hosts on Friday night after sharing a surprising admission of an 'illegal' hobby that he used to take part in.
During a discussion about the cost of beer and cocktails increasing in price from February, the panel spoke about how it may lead to a rise in home brewing beer.
Nick Cody revealed that the cost of a pint of beer is set to increase from $12 to $15, while cocktails will likely soar to over $24.
Speaking about the cost of having a few beers at the pub, Nick said, "It's starting to get a little bit ridiculous."
Susie Youssef joked that it would lead to an increase in home brewing, with Nick joking that at the age of 36, he's somehow been able to avoid the stereotypical hobbies of other people his age, including home brewing, golf and barbecuing.
"I don't know how I've avoided the trifecta of 'loser'," he quipped, with Georgie Tunny joking that he looked like someone who would do all of those three things.
From February 1, an alcohol tax will see the price of beer soar to $15 a pint, which has left brewers and beer lovers alike unhappy as the cost of living continues to bite Aussies. pic.twitter.com/Yigg9ARHz2

"Because, there was a time in the late 2000s, early 2010s, where like, I guess, people were struggling a bit and would brew a lot of beer at home," Michael said. "You'd go to a party and everyone would be like, 'Hey, try this, I just brewed it in my bathtub,' and you'd feel obliged to do it, just because you're trying to be polite, but it was inevitably poison. Like, every single time!"
"Did you do this Michael," Susie asked, with Michael saying he'd never tried brewing beer, but he did try his hand at something else.
"No, no, I was into vodka," he said. "I had a crack at making vodka, it was pretty bad, I think also it may have been illegal.
"Let's move on to literally anything else!" he begged his co-hosts.
