landmine explosion in a forest near Kolpytiv village in Ukraine's Volyn Oblast tragically killed three people, Volynski Novyny media reported.

The Volyn Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine received an emergency call at 9:58 p.m. on March 14. The caller reported that all victims were deceased. Relatives of the deceased needed medical assistance.

Earlier today, reports indicated that a 44-year-old man in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, detonated an explosive device, sustaining fatal injuries that resulted in his death en route to the hospital.

Around 30% of Ukraine's land has been contaminated with mines due to Russia's full-scale invasion. It could take up to 10 years to fully clear all the mines, Ukraine’s Internal Affairs Ministry and State Emergency Service estimate.
