Timothée Chalamet recently opened up in a cover interview for GQ about the embarrassment he experienced following the release of some intimate paparazzi photos.

The actor, whose year-long relationship with Lily-Rose Depp filled social media timelines in 2019, was referring to those pictures of the couple passionately kissing on a yacht off the coast of Capri. (You know the ones - they in fact, became memes.)

“I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life,” he told GQ. “I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.’ And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale? And then people are like: This is a P.R. stunt. A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I'd want to look like that in front of all of you?!”

Chalamet and Depp have since broken up, but the plague of paparazzi invading the actor's privacy hasn't stopped. Recently linked to actress Eiza González, Chalamet was once again the star of some steamy, waterside photos published online.
