If you’re looking to participate in an inspiring night out that includes women of diverse backgrounds coming together, then the Together Live tour is for you. Launched last year by Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, the second Together Live tour is a women’s conference featuring impressive speakers. Tickets go on sale on Monday, July 24th, and only cost $25, You’ll not only want to attend this event, but you’ll actually be able to — it is totally feasible for you to make it as a multitasking modern woman, and that’s the whole point.

Walsh is head of the worldwide literary department for William Morris Endeavor, and has worked with such high-profile and influential women as Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Sandberg, and Arianna Huffington. She created Together in 2016 as a way to connect passionate women, and Together strives to do that through storytelling. This statement provided to HelloGiggles explains what makes Together unique:

“Unlike many women’s conferences, Together is not about work-life balance or having it all. Rather, Together convenes women across backgrounds and generations to share their raw stories and focus on building community, taking action, and finding self-love.”

“And while most conferences limit space and come with a substantial price tag, Jennifer set out to democratize the event experience by selling tickets for $25 to start, scheduling events after work hours and selecting venues that accommodate thousands.”

If you live in or near Portland, Seattle, San Jose, Phoenix, Austin, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Minneapolis, Chicago, or Philadelphia, you’re in luck because the Together tour is coming to you. Get more info about the event dates and locations here.

Walsh explained to HelloGiggles through email why she wanted to create a conference focused on diverse, female voices. She says:

“I am blessed to have spent my career representing some of the world’s greatest authors and thought leaders. My love for storytelling started with books and then evolved. I yearned to share the experience beyond reading. I wanted to actually be with others while I was hearing people share their own vulnerable truths.”

She went on to co-create Oprah’s “The Life You Want” tour, where she “had the opportunity to intimately witness the incredible energy and magic that comes from bringing audiences physically together in the same room to share their stories and create a collective heartbeat of love.” She says she “never wanted it to end,” and that’s where Together came from. Walsh says:

“I longed to create a way to sustain this magic and make it accessible for women all over the country. And then the universe presented me with a gift when I met my co-founder Glennon Doyle, who shared this exact dream. Together Live was born.”

Storytelling is a big part of Together’s mission, because Walsh thinks it has the ability to unite people of different backgrounds.

“Storytelling has the power to break down barriers and bring people together,” Walsh says. “It literally transforms lives. We have this philosophy that fear cannot survive proximity.”

Using this philosophy, Together Live will try to balance some of the fear and anger that exists in today’s social climate.

“Our mission to bring open hearted people from all walks of life together to find purpose, community, and get into action,” Walsh says. “It’s a radical act of love that our country needs more than ever.”

So if you want to be a part of this “radical act of love,” get tickets for the Together Live tour now — and get ready to feel uplifted and inspired by the power of togetherness.
