A Viral Tweet Is Asking People What Fruit They Could Throw And Chrissy Teigen Had Her Answer On Deck
Twitter is where news breaks and all of the hottest debates seem to start. A recent tweet has people talking about what fruit they think they could throw the farthest, and everyone is chiming in with their answers, including Chrissy Teigen.
What fruit/vegetable do you think you could throw the farthest? I think my answer is an avocado. Apple is close, but the slip factor is too high. I think I could absolutely GUN an avocado

The original tweet was posted by writer Bailey Carlin, and it asked people what fruit or vegetable they think they would be able to throw the farthest. Carlin himself thought that an avocado would be his fruit of choice, but the replies were wild with possibilities. People were saying everything from apples and mangos to persimmons and starfruit.
Then Chrissy Teigen got in on the conversation. She said that an avocado was her definite pick, and that a waxy orange would also be rather easy to launch. The clarification of "waxy" is likely because it would make it easier to grip for throwing.
Absolutely avocado. Waxy orange would also launch https://t.co/vfmvZnQP58

People really started spiraling out of control over this tweet; conversations about weight, grip, texture, and density all came in to play when people were deciding what they'd be able to throw. Quite a few people brought up the idea of a banana acting like a boomerang when thrown which is obviously not true but it is a very entertaining mental image.
Just hear me out: banana boomerang

When I saw this tweet making the rounds on Twitter, my first thought went to kiwis—but are they too small? I asked some members of the Delish team what they thought and it ending up being pretty divisive! Some said a lemon was the way to go, others agreed that a mango has the necessary weight, another said that a pomegranate has an ideal grip situation.
Now, though, my final answer is wholeheartedly a nectarine. They're hard, dense, and have a good grip on them. I will not be reading the comments on this story. Feel free to bring this question up in any of your group chats or at the dinner table and let chaos ensue. Have fun!!!!
