WATCH: Melania reveals truth about White House move

It took her six months to move into the White House to be with her husband Donald Trump, and Melania has finally spoken out about uprooting her life from New York.

Opening up in her first interview since the move with the President standing by her side, Melania told Fox & Friends what life is now like.

“We are enjoying it very much,” she told host Ainsley Earhardt.

When asked about her 11-year-old son Barron, Melania revealed he was “all settled – he loves it here,” before adding the family haven’t had time to miss New York.

“Not really, I’m so busy and we’re doing so many great stuff,” she said. “It’s a really special place and I love it here.”

In a sign of what might be to come, the focus of the interview then turned to the President, with Melania only asked four questions during the 20 minute interview.

For Melania, who stayed true to her luxe style by wearing a $2,500 striped Mary Katzentrou dress for the interview, it’s been a quiet few days – and insiders speculate she won’t follow in former FLOTUS Michelle Obama’s footsteps by frequenting restaurants in the local DC area.

“I don't know anybody in New York who knows her or ever sees her socially and I suspect that will be the same here,” the DailyMail reports author Sally Quinn saying.
