Yes, it’s that comfortable.

A couple of years ago, I was having a French lesson via Zoom, where I was learning the vocabulary for clothing. My tutor asked me to describe what I was wearing. I said, “Je porte un haut noir à manches longues,”aka, I’m wearing a black long sleeve top. The next week, she asked me again. I repeated myself: “Je porte un haut noir à manches longues.” The next week? You know what happened. Now, I don’t just have an affinity for any black long sleeve top. I have a deep obsession with one in particular: Everlane’s Micro Rib Long Sleeve Tee.

I own seven of these T-shirts. Seven! There are two in black and one in white hanging in my closet, and there are four faded black ones in my loungewear drawer. I wear them everywhere, and nowhere, and I simply can’t quit them. Made out of cozy ribbed Supima cotton (a new update to the top, which was previously made with pima cotton), the Everlane Micro Rib Long Sleeve Tee comes in 10 versatile colors and has a slim fit and crew neckline. You can snag it in sizes XXS to XL for $50.

I love many, many things about the top. The super soft cotton fabric has a touch of stretch, so it hugs your body ever so gently. It doesn’t wrinkle, so I can throw one right off the drying rack. The fitted silhouette makes everything from my slouchy jeans to my at-home joggers look a little more polished. And, last but not least, I can wash it on repeat — and although it may fade after the 700th wash and get demoted to loungewear, I still love wearing it around the house just as much.

I’m not the only one who has good things to say about the comfy top. One shopper who owns the shirt in every color said they wear them “almost everyday.” “Super soft, nonbinding and just the right length,” they wrote. “When they finally stretch a bit (after years of wear), I sleep in them and order more. They go with everything — shorts, skirts , pants and are great for layering.” Another reviewer wrote that they also wear the Everlane tee “constantly.” “The best long sleeve tee on the market!” they raved. “I like the tighter fit for under sweaters or blazers or just on [its] own.” I forgot about that part — it is the absolute perfect piece to wear under sweaters. Got an itchy knit? Slip this crew underneath and you’ll be the comfiest person in a sweater all season long.

My advice? Grab your Everlane Micro Rib Long Sleeve Tee before word gets out.
