Penguin Random House is releasing multiple books based on the "Wednesday" TV series.

There are multiple Wednesday-inspired book releases on the way.

On April 24, Penguin Random House announced it was teaming up with Amazon MGM Studios on a new worldwide publishing program based on the hit Netflix Addams Family spinoff that stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character.

Based on characters created by Charles Addams, the first season of the series follows Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, as she attempted to solve a monster mystery at her new school, Nevermore Academy.

After announcing the news on a Wednesday to tie in with the show's title, Penguin Random House confirmed the program would launch in July 2024 and will include a variety of releases for children, teens and adults, a press release obtained by PEOPLE confirmed.

The titles will include an all-ages coloring book, Wednesday: Official Coloring Book, along with the I Am Wednesday (Little Golden Book) — both set to be released on July 2, 2024.

The publisher will also release a young adult novelization, Wednesday: A Novelization of Season One, on Sept. 3, 2024, and The Official Wednesday Cookbook will follow on Sept. 17, 2024. Wednesday: The Official Nightshade Society Journal will come out on Oct. 1, 2024.

“It’s almost terrifying how monstrously popular Wednesday Addams has become since the series launch on Netflix,” said Christopher Angelilli, VP and editor-in-chief and director of licensed publishing at Random House Children’s Books.

“Penguin Random House couldn’t be more thrilled to embark on a worldwide publishing collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios to celebrate the beloved antiheroine," Angelilli continued. "Our eclectic program includes something for readers of all ages—from a Little Golden Book to cookbooks to tarot cards—and offers fans of the series new ways to enjoy their favorite show during the wait between seasons.”

The announcement comes after it was confirmed in January 2023 that Wednesday would be returning for season 2. The show has been watched by millions since its November 2022 release, with it becoming the first English-language series to surpass 400 million viewing hours in a single week.

“We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more," Ortega, who will also serve as a producer on the second season, said at the time of the announcement. "Because it is so lighthearted, and a show like this with vampires and werewolves and superpowers, you don’t want to take yourself too seriously."

The first season also starred actors including Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Christina Ricci and Victor Dorobantu. Netflix streamed the show, but MGM produced and holds the licensing rights.
