The Golden Bachelor ended with Gerry Turner proposing to Theresa Nist, and now we'll get to see the couple get married on The Golden Wedding, airing Jan. 4.

Who is the Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner
Turner is a 72-year-old retired restaurateur, with a home in Indiana. He married his high school sweetheart, Toni, in 1974, but she died suddenly in 2017.
Who is Theresa Nist
Nist is a 70-year-old financial services professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey. She has has a son, daughter and six grandsons. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Billy, who passed away nine years ago.
“I know how sometimes it feels like the whole world thinks love is only for the young, and quite honestly, at the age of 70, I was beginning to feel that myself,” Nist said in the finale proposal footage. "I’m so madly in love with you, Gerry, and I feel that for us, life isn’t over, the best is yet to come.”
