A winning lottery ticket was bought in Kingsville — but it's going to expire soon
If you purchased a lottery ticket in Kingsville almost a year ago, there's a chance you could be a winner — but time is running out.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says an ENCORE ticket winning $100,000 on Lotto 6/49 was bought in the town on April 1, 2023.
Winners have up to a year to claim their prizes, and the OLG says that for this ticket, the winner has two more weeks.
The winning selection was 1-1-6-4-8-9-3, the gaming corporation says.
"Our prize claim verification ensures that prize ownership and eligibility is confirmed before a prize is paid, the OLG said in a media release.
If a resident believes they bought the winning ticket, or lost the ticket, residents should be prepared to provide specific details about when and where the ticket was purchased to a OLG representative by calling 1-800-387-0098.
