When we millennials were voracious readers as kids, we had it tough. We had to lug our backpacks full of books everywhere we went: to and from school, on all our family trips, to sleepovers, etc. For kids these days, Kindles and other e-readers exist, and they have it so easy. Their future spines will thank them — that’s for sure. Still, it’s really fun to see a kid who loves to read get excited about anything related to reading. And a viral video of a bookworm kid being gifted her very own Kindle is melting hearts all over the internet today.

The video, posted by the Sinclair Family on TikTok, shows their middle daughter receiving a Kindle of her own. In the caption, they explain that their oldest daughter already had one, and their youngest received one for Christmas from her uncle for her birthday. But that left their middle daughter without a Kindle.

“Best uncle alert,” they wrote. “When he realized that her big sister (middle child) did not have a kindle of her own, he promptly ordered one as a surprise. Today it arrived and her reaction was way too cute not to share.”

The video shows her reading in the backseat of the car (like so many book-loving kids are wont to do) when her mom, holding the Amazon box, says it’s for her. Looking skeptical, she asks, “For me?” Then her face breaks into a smile as her mom reveals it’s from Uncle Rob.

Her face turns to shock as she opens the box and realizes what’s inside.

“What? That’s not for me,” she says. “Thank you so much!”

Her mom reveals that Uncle Rob placed the order before she even put the Kindle on her Amazon Wishlist.

“He said it was ‘uncle intuition,'” she jokes.

In the comments, people are loving how happy she is about the gift — and the bond she clearly has with her uncle.

“These are the best videos to receive as an auntie. I’d give my niece the moon and the stars if I could! Uncle rob did awesome,” one wrote.

Another added, “This librarian has watched 10 times. Love her cluelessness from being into her book! Love her excitement!”
